The Architecture Studio Camp exposes the Camper
to many aspects of Architecture. As a summer camp, the program is a combination of instructional projects and community exploration.

2019 Campers will...

  • Be enlightened about building types and architectural styles

  • Develop a visual design vocabulary
  • Realize the elements that most impact and influence space
  • Visit architectural examples

The Camp Founders

Reginald B. Wilson

is the owner of Reginald B. Wilson Architecture–a firm specializing in single-family residential and small commercial architecture. Currently, he is adjunct faculty at Columbia College Chicago, where he has taught for twenty-six years. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and has participated extensively in Harvard University, Graduate School of Design’s, Executive Education Program.

Joclyn Oats

is the owner of Joclyn Oats/Architecture & Interiors–a practice specializing in residential and commercial architecture & interior design. Currently, she is full-time faculty at Columbia College Chicago, where she has taught for thirty years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in Interior Design and her Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Campers are to bring their own lunch daily, EXCEPT on Fridays.
All field trips and supplies are included in the program cost.
